Graceann G. FORRESTER
PT, DPT, CKTI
Dr. Forrester earned her Physical Therapy degree from New York University. She finished her Doctorate PT degree at Boston University. In New York, she treats patients of all ages for neuromuscular, traumatic or repetitive injuries. She has developed a program to enhance strengths and life skills of pulmonary patients. She has taught clinical Physical Therapy classes for Ithaca College. She has developed and implemented workshops for NY industries called "Promoting a Healthy Back". She also sees clients as a Certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor. Dr. Forrester taught educational programs to improve transportation and therapeutic positioning of disabled children in Port Au Prince, Haiti. She serves on the Board of Education, as Curriculum Chair, for KTA, teaching in Russia, the UK and Italy. She is a board member of Hope Unites, an "international ecumenical organization specializing in humanitarian aid and disaster relief". Dr. Forrester lives in NY with her husband and 4 children.
David B. PARISH
DC, DACBSP, CKTI
David Parish is an Assistant Professor at National University of Health Science-Chicago Clinic. He has over 16 years of private practice experience concentrating in treatment of sports injuries including AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. Dr. Parish was also a physician for the Pro Rodeo Circuit, the 1991 World Gymnastics Championships, and 1994 Prairie State Games. He is a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Acupuncturist, and Certified in Manipulation under Anesthesia.
Karen WOODBECK
MS, PT, ATC, OCS, CKTI
Karen graduated with a BS in Physical Education with an Athletic Training emphasis in 1985 from Boise State University. She went on to complete the Physical Therapy program at University of Indianapolis in 1987. She received her orthopedic clinical specialist designation in 1994. She has been a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor since 2003.
Her primary experience has been in the realm of general orthopedics and sports medicine with an emphasis on manual therapy. Karen has also worked in home health and has a broad background to call upon. She believes in improving function and tolerance in patient activities and positions through a combination of patient education, manual therapy, exercise, modalities, and taping when indicated. She was a volunteer for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta where she worked at the softball venue. In her free time, Karen works in her garden, plays grass doubles volleyball, hikes, mountain bikes, and backpacks.
Tracy BARNES
DC, DICCP, CKTI
Dr. Barnes is a chiropractor with a private practice in Louisville, KY. She uses a variety of techniques including functional kinesiology, myofascial release and craniosacral therapy. She is a 1992 graduate of Palmer-West Chiropractic College in San Jose, CA and earned a post-graduate diplomate degree in clinical pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Association. She is the Anatomy & Physiology instructor at Advanced Massage Therapeutics School and teaches nationally on a variety of pediatric topics.
She is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor and loves it!
Vincent DE BONO
DC, CSCS, CKTI
Dr. DeBono is a senior staff clinician at National University of Health Sciences and a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is an avid runner having completed five marathons and six triathlons. Dr. DeBono is president of RunningDoctors.com, a Web site dedicated to the care and treatment of running related injuries which also provides educational seminars on treatment of endurance athletes. He graduated from NUHS in 1989.
